Uluru Everchanging

As Uluru is a sacred Aboriginal site, when visiting the National Park you need to keep to designated roads and photo bays. Some photographers might be a little bit frustrated by this as their ability to find a new angle is quite limited. However the way the light changes on the rock is simply incredible as we have seen over the last few posts.

Here is a compilation of how the light can change over a matter an 2 hours!

I hope you have enjoyed my Uluru posts! xx

Australian Sunset: Part 4

Long Point, Coorong National Park, South Australia.

Quite a windy day, there was not a cloud in the sky for most of the day. Approaching sunset, two planes flew over high in the sky leaving vapour trails to catch the evening colours. It made for a pretty spectacular shot or four!

This is the 4th post in a series of 5 posts, of the sunsets I captured during my 8 week road trip in Southern Australia.

Coral Sea Sunset

Sailing through the Coral Sea…

Sunsets can be most impressive when viewed at sea as the horizon appears endless against the ocean and there seem to always be clouds floating past!

In April this year, my mother and I cruised to some of the Pacific Islands. Our last port of call was Noumea. Unfortunately a cyclone prevented us from visiting the city and instead sent us hundreds of kilometers off course to avoid it.

However, the sunset that night was most impressive. I am sure the boat was heavily weighed down on the viewing side. This was the view from our balcony and this photo captures the entirety of the sunset…

This sunset was so spectacular due to the variation of colours and clouds on either side of the setting sun. Each side displayed its own unique beauty.
